Afternoon Visit ...

Once again as we were in town ...

we decided to see if Vern & Ellen were around ...

(I've known Vern for 45 years ... since we first met in Ontario)

they were delighted that we had called ...

 we ended up going to their home ...

as they were watching the curling match ...

we sat around talking ... remembering old times ... 

and discussing what has been going on in both our lives ...

with our families ...

while watching the game ...

later we headed for the kitchen ...

to enjoy a lovely feast of food ...

and conversation ...

This was the speciality of the table ...

baguettes with cream cheese .. smoked salmon ... red onion ... and capers ...

as well as cold cuts ... buns ... vegetables and more ...

so delicious ...

We had a wonderful time visiting ...

and hoped to get together again soon ... !!!
