Mike was travelling from the job site ... to Fort St. John ...
when he saw a pack of black wolves ...
crossing the road ...
one had turned back and Mike hit it ..
this is the damage that was done to the truck ...
the wolf did not survive ...
Mike got out and pulled it off the road ...
and thought that was a crazy thing to do ...
as the pack of wolves were close by ... and he could have been dinner for them ...
he got back in the truck and headed to the hotel ...
When he related the story ... he was asked if he put the wolf in the back of the truck ...
he had not ...
Mike was told that he could have gotten $600 for the pelt in town ... !!!
When Mike drove back to work the next day ...
the wolf was gone ...
Obviously ... someone had made themselves a little cash ... !!!
Oh my goodness ,glad Mike was OK, the truck can always be fixed ! M.
