Totally overwhelmed seeing all the displays at the ...
"Mercado de Artesanias"
The market runs at an angle down three or four blocks ...
you can enter it at several locations ...
grateful for the signs on the buildings ...
pointing the way ...
You can pretty well buy everything there ... souvenirs ...
including textiles, ceramics, pottery, jewellery...
products made of wood, leather, and natural fibres ... aluminum ...
also a whole assortment of food ... traditional dishes ...
It is an extremely colourful sight ...
we spent quite a bit of time walking thru ... and purchasing a few trinkets ...
before we had to travel back to the house ... to meet the kids arriving back from school ...
Mom & dad brought home this cute little pottery Tea Set for Ella ...
she also was given this handmade bracelet ...
After dinner we all went back to Queretaro ...
as Katie had a Roller Derby practise ...
preparing for their competition for Nationals on the weekend ...
in Guadalajara, Mexico
Nov. 11 ... Nathan hope you are feeling better ...
after separating your shoulder ...
roller blading with the family on Sunday ... !!!
wishing you a speedy recovery ...
What great photos, we love Mexican food and are lucky here in AZ. to have so much real and authentic Mexican food...that market looks amazing! The pottery is so colorful and perfect for a desert climate. Hope Nathan is feeling better as well.
