A Day In The Garden ...

We were able to bring home about a half an ice-cream bucket ...

full of huckleberries ...

they were washed and vacuumed sealed in packages for the freezer ...

Should be enough to make a Huckleberry Pie ... !!!

Resi enjoyed going down to the garden ...

to gather the produce that was ready to be picked ...

I decided to dig up one of the potato plants ...

they were so delicious with our evening meal ...

The squash would take a couple more weeks ...

before they would be ready to eat ...

After our dinner ... and a few sociables ...

we decided to go for a walk up to the neighbours ...

Klaus and Resi were interested ...

in checking out their garden ...

Don & Bonnie have an incredible garden ...

We spent quite a bit of time roaming thru the produce ...

then sitting down ... enjoying the view ...

and having a great time ... !!!

It was getting dark out ...

Resi was a little concerned about walking home ...

she did not want to meet any animals along the way ... !!!

Resi was relieved when we were home well before it was completely dark ... !!!
