Last Day of Holidays ...

Nixon helping Grandma in the kitchen ...
with his measuring spoons and mini spatula ...
I had pulled the highchair over by the sink ...
so that we could chat and get lunch ready for the group ...
Nixon was waiting for lunch ...
as soon as he sees food ...
he opens his mouth like a little birdie ...
ready to be fed ... !!!
 

Heading down to Mac's Lake ...
(that's what we called this little lake in the valley)
Ian ... Kendall and Daigen all dressed in their quading gear ...
to go for a ride and swim in the lake ...
apparently Daigen swam out to the raft and back to the dock twice ...
(he was wearing his life Jacket)
and was getting ready to go for a third time ...
but mom & dad said "no" ...
they were too tired to swim anymore ...!!
On their way back to Grandmas' ...
they did a little cross country touring on the property ...

 

And then back in the pool again for Daigen ...

Oma ... Kurt ... and Johanna ...

drove out to say goodbye to the kids ...

Johanna was delighted to finally meet Nixon ...

just so adorable ... !!!
