A celebration was held in Mayook ...
to show the community all the upgrades that were done ...
with the Columbia Basin Trust Fund Monies ...
and the volunteers of the Back Country Horsemen ...
dedicating their time and efforts ....
A great game of Bocci was played ...
Gathering around the new outdoor kitchen ...
waiting for the food to be BBQ'd ... and the table setup with salads and condiments ...
we were then entertained by local and visiting musicians ...
Kids having a blast ... playing ... running ... laughing ... !!!
The kids came running when they heard it was cake time ...
then waiting patiently while Bonnie cuts the slab into pieces ...
watching them as their little fingers inch closer to the icing ... !!!

How wonderful to have such a great place to celebrate your community! I know how much hard work that has gone into keeping that schoolhouse and grounds in good shape..keeping it for the next generation..may the tradition continue❤
