MMMM ... Fresh Rhubarb ...

Oh my ... the rhubarb is ready in the garden ...!!!
It's time to bake my first Rhubarb Pie of the season ...
Perfect amount for the pie was picked and cut up into pieces ...
The ingredients for the pie crust ...
was measured and prepared ... then rolled out to the perfect size ...
Next the Rhubard mixture was poured into the shell ...
The top pie crust rolled out and placed on top ...
edges sealed and air escape holes were made ...
The aroma in the kitchen ... while the pie baked ...
made my mouth water ...
I could hardly wait for the Rhubarb pie to cool down to eat ...
It was absolutely delicious ...
so Oma says too ... as I did share half of it with her ...!!!!
