Great little Italian Restaurant ...

"Villa Firenze"

in Bridgeland area in Calgary ...

We had travelled to Calgary ...

to spend the weekend here before Mike's retirement party ...

We decided to get together with Ron & Deb ...

longtime friends from our home town ...

This was a fabulous place ...

the food was exquisite ...

and our server was an authentic Italian ...

living in Canada ...

less than a year ...

he had excellent knowledge of the wine and winery in Italy ...

We had a lovely evening talking ... telling stories ... laughing ... !!!

Now that Mike was going to be retired ...

he will have time to hopefully ...

 go fishing to the west coast with Ron ...

 and some of the other guys from Ontario ...

We received well wishes on Mike's retirement ...

and hugs & kisses when we left ...

perhaps now we will be able to visit more often ...
