Gang Arrived ...

Nathan and his family arrived to spend a little time with us ...

and to celebrate Mike's birthday ... 

I decided to make a Sugar-free Lemon Meringue Pie for Mike's birthday ...

and also a Crazy Cake for the rest of the family ...

Ella helped in the kitchen ... giving me the ingredients needed to prepare both ...

she then helped decorate the chocolate cake ... with sprinkles 

and James came in to help cleanup the beaters, spatula and bowl ...

It was a beautiful sunny day ...

perfect weather to have a camp fire to cook hot dogs ...

and roast marshmallows ...

The kids did a great job gathering the wood and getting the fire started ...

Craig decided to be an artist in his ketchup layout ... !!!

Everyone was happy to get on their machines and go riding ...

I think Nathan needs to bring his own bike next time ...

so the kids do not have to share with daddy ...

Grandpa was busy working on the VW ...

Craig came in to help him ... his job was to vacuum up the work area ...

as you can see he was goofing off ...
