I had made this little Market Bag for Ella ...
she loved it and packed it everywhere ...
then what a score when Oma brought a bag full of jewellery ...
for her to have and play with ...
the boys were not happy that I didn't make them anything ...
they wanted me to make them slippers
sooooo ...
while the kids were with Peter & Caroline ...
I whipped up a few pairs ...
this pair was originally going to be for James ...
but ended up being the perfect size for Ella ...
This pair was going to be Craigs' ...
but again they were too small for him ...
(he is growing like a weed right now)
so these ones became James ...
Being that the we were leaving the next day for Okotoks ...
I had to crochet a pair for Craig the evening they arrived back for their camping trip ...
this is a picture of the kids ...
the next morning when they got up ...
they were delighted to all have slippers ...
I didn't get to much else accomplished during that time ...
as long as I had everything packed and ready to go ...
was all that mattered ...
It was so worth the time spent ...
crocheting the slippers for them ...
they thought it was the best thing since sliced bread ...
to be slipping and sliding on the floor ...
and crashing into each other
and crashing into each other
they were having just too much fun ... !
I love how you whipped up these slippers and the bag for Ella....I am sure they are all so proud of their grandma's talents...how they must of loved their gifts...my most favorite is the slippers on their feet...what a great photo!
