Hearty Breakfast ...

 

The grandchildren requested to have a good breakfast to start the day ...
they usually spent a portion of the morning ...
putting puzzles together or playing with the Lego ...
(so that I could get my day organized)
before heading out to the pool ...

 

We decided to head into town to go have dinner with Oma ...
these kids ate so well ...
Oma and I could not believe what they packed away ...

each of the kids ...
took turns taking pictures of all of us together ...
even asking for Johanna to come in and have her picture taken too ...
Craig, James and Ella ...
really enjoy listening to Burk play the accordion ...
so Burk and his wife Rose came to the dining room to play a tune for them ...

 

After this enormous meal these kids devoured ...

we went for a walk to the bridge ...

so they could see and feed the ducks ...

It was a great way to burn off some steam ...

before picking up a few groceries and going home ...

Perfect little helpers ... each one with their own shopping bag ...

packing up the groceries ...
